Positioned to become Sydney’s premier tech hub, the CPS precinct’s architectural marvels are the brainchild of renowned firms such as Fender Katsalidis, SOM Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, and Edition Office from Melbourne. Emphasizing sustainability, the twin office towers feature eco-friendly facades and vibrant rooftop communal spaces, placing occupants at the heart of Sydney’s vibrant neighborhoods and amenities. Fender Katsalidis, in collaboration with Brand Agency MotiffMotiff, crafted the display suite, embodying the precinct’s ethos of lifestyle, sustainability, and community.
The physical model, a testament to these values, was meticulously crafted using solid wood and recyclable, locally sourced materials, with 30% sourced from offcuts of other projects to minimize waste. Custom-built by Make Models, the model’s plinth facilitates easy assembly and disassembly through a flat-pack system, while its interior reveals a powder-coated detail harmonizing with the brand’s colors.
The master plan model showcases the precinct’s integration with surrounding areas such as Central Station and neighborhoods like Surry Hills, Chippendale, Everleigh, Darling Harbor, and Haymarket, emphasizing key park amenities. Controlled via an iPad interface, agents can illuminate the proposed development and highlight local landmarks and infrastructure, showcasing the site’s connectivity and potential.
